The article examines the issue of extending the life cycle of the operation of low-tonnage vans of the Stellantis concern. These vehicles are widely used by farms in Ukraine to transport spare parts for agricultural machinery, fertilizers, dry fodder mixtures, fuel and lubricants, etc. As a result of long-term operation, a failure of the pedal connection with the clutch master cylinder rod was discovered. This happens due to lack of lubrication and mechanical wear, destruction of the plastic bushing. The author's team proposed a certain constructive improvement. It consists in replacing individual parts with more reliable ones. The proposed technical solution will significantly increase the reliability of the use of the node and save money on repairs.
