M.; Muzyka, D.; Chaplygina, A.Feather mites (Acariformes, Astigmata) are a large group of species in which mites of the genus Proctophyllodes Robin, 1868. Analgoidea are among the most common parasites of passerines. These mites are permanent obligate ectoparasites localized on the flight feathers, greater wing coverts, and on the tail. Most species of feather mites are characterized by high host specificity. The taxonomy and fauna of feather mites of the genus Proctophyllodes, and their morphological identification characters in different countries of the world are still a matter of research. The aim of our work was to describe the morphological features and metric parameters of feather mites of the species P. musicus Vitzthum, 1922, isolated from the common blackbird Turdus merula Linnaeus, 1758 in Ukraine. 32 parameters are determined in males and females of P.musicus mites, which characterize both their general structure of the body and sexual dimorphism. The structure and sizes of the body, gnathosoma, idiosoma, prodorsal and hysteronotal shields, epimerites I, setae cp and c3, and the distance between setae of the scapula se–se and si–si are described. In males, the sizes of adanal sucker discs, epigastric shields, genital arch, setae ps2, h3, h2, the distance between setae 4a–4a, g–g, ps3–ps3, ps1–ps1 are additionally described and determined. Lamellae in males are wide, tongueshaped, do not overlap. The aedeagus is short, slightly extending beyond the posterior margin of the genital arch. In female mites, the dimensions of the lobar shield, terminal appendages, and terminal recess are additionally described and determined, taking into account the location of setae ps1, h2, the dimensions of setae cp, c3, h3, h2, the distance between setae h1–h1, the distance between hysteronotal and lobar shields. The mite eggs were measured in the body of the female and on the feathers of the birds. The scientific data obtained in this study expand the already existing data on morphological and metric characters of feather mites of the species P. musicus(Proctophyllodidae) isolated from the common blackbirdPublication Development of an analytical model of the controlled movement of grain material on the bulk shelves of a loading-gravity-cascade unit(2025-06-17) Antonets, A.; Антонець, Анатолій Вікторович; Arendarenko, V.; Арендаренко, Володимир Миколайович; Ivanov, O.; Іванов, Олег Миколайович; Dudnikov, I.; Дудніков, Ігор Анатолійович; Liashenko, S.; Ляшенко, Віктор ВасильовичThe object of research is the gravitational movement of grain along the transfer shelves and a cascade loading unit with two acceleration and two braking sections. The study of such movement is carried out to confirm theoretical studies on the development and justification of an analytical model of controlled gravitational movement of grain along transfer shelves. When loading grain, it can be injured when falling from a considerable height and hitting the bottom and walls of the container. This problem requires the development and study of a technical solution that would provide regulation of the velocity of grain movement when loading it into the container. Theoretical studies were carried out using the developed analytical model of grain movement and the proposed equations to find the relationships between the angles of inclination of the acceleration and braking shelves of the gravity-cascade unit. Based on the analytical model, an experimental unit was made of two acceleration and two braking shelves. The shelves can freely rotate on the axes to the required angle in the range from 0° to 90° relative to the horizontal plane. For the shelves of the acceleration sections, the angle of inclination α was chosen from the variable series of 45°, 50°, 60°. Based on the angle α, according to the model, the shelf of the first braking section was set at an angle of 20.43°, 20.48°, 20.32°, and the shelf of the second braking section was set at 38.46°, 35.28°, 29.32°. Experimental studies have shown that the velocity of grain movement is indeed regulated by a combination of the ratios of the angles of the acceleration and braking shelves. In this case, the velocity of grain in the last braking section is close to the initial flow velocity at the beginning of the first acceleration shelf. The values of the absolute and relative errors of the experiments of the experimentally determined velocities and the theoretical value of the velocity indicate quite acceptable limits of deviations for this multifactorial experiment. The relative deviation of the experimental from the theoretical velocity of movement of the grain mass does not exceed 12.76%. The results obtained and their analysis indicate that the presented analytical model and the designed gravity-cascade unit due to the braking and acceleration sections allow solving the problem of controlled movement of the velocity of grain for its loading into containers without injury, in particular into silo structures.Item Dynamics of nutrients in the soil and spring barley yield depending on the rates of mineral Fertilizers(2021) Hanhur, V. S.; Hanhur, V. V.; Staniak, M.; Єремко, Людмила Сергіївна; Гангур, Володимир ВасильовичThe aim of the study was to optimize the nutritional status and increase the productivity of chickpeas through the application of mineral and organic-mineral fertilizers as well as microbial preparations based on nitrogen-fixing, phosphorus-mobilizing, and potassium-mobilizing microorganisms. The research was conducted in 2019–2021 in the Poltava Research Agricultural Station (Ukraine). NPK fertilizers were applied at a dose, of 20, 80, and 80 kg ha−1, respectively. Before sowing, the seeds were inoculated with the microbial preparation BiNitro Chickpea (BN) and Biofosforyn (BF). Foliar feeding was carried out with the microfertilizer Freya–AquaTM C(12) Legumes (F). The development of chickpea leaf area and the intensity of organic matter production were largely determined by the supply of the main macronutrients to the plants. The introduction of NPK significantly increased leaf area and net photosynthetic productivity, while the effect of BN, BF, and F on the values of these indices was not significant. Their effect was manifested during the accumulation of aboveground biomass and the formation of yield structure elements. An increase in the seed yield was shown in relation to the application of NPK, microbial preparations, and micronutrient fertilizers. Regardless of the NPK, the highest yield was shown in the variant of the combination of BN+BF+F.Publication Effect of Mineral Fertilization and Seed Inoculation with Microbial Preparation on Seed and Protein Yield of Pea (Pisum sativum L.)(2024) Yeremko, L. S.; Hanhur, V. V.; Staniak, M.; Єремко, Людмила Сергіївна; Гангур, Володимир ВасильовичThe aim of this study was to determine the effects of different NPK rates and N application methods and seed inoculation with a microbial preparation on selected elements of plant growth and the productivity parameters seed yield, protein content in seeds and the yield of protein. The research hypothesis suggested that seed inoculation and a split rate of N application with an optimal supply of plants with PK could improve the nutritional status and increase the efficiency of nutrient use in peas. The studies included two factors: the application of NPK at doses of N0P0K0 (control), N15P15K15 (pre-sowing), N15P30K30 + N15 (pre-sowing + N15 at BBCH 22–23), N30P30K30 (pre-sowing), N30P45K45 + N15 (pre-sowing + N15 at BBCH 22–23) and N45P45K45 (pre-sowing), and seed inoculation with the microbial preparation Rhizogumin. The results of the study showed significant effects of seed inoculation and mineral fertilization on pea plant growth and the productivity parameters seed yield, protein content and protein yield. It was concluded that among the studied combinations, seed inoculation and the application of mineral fertilizers with fractional nitrogen fertilization with N30P45K45 + N15 were the most effective. This combination significantly increased seed yield, protein content and protein yield compared to the control treatment (by 26.2%, 11.1% and 43,5%, respectively).Item Effect of supplemental lighting spectral composition on the tomato yield in greenhouses(2021-11-10) Velit, I. В.Formation of productivity of any agricultural crop depends on many factors. First of all, the soil and climatic conditions of the crop growing area, varietal or hybrid composition, seed quality, sowing dates and plant density, and strict adherence to all methods of cultivation technology are important. Corn hybrids of different maturity groups differ in morphological and biological properties. Thus, obtaining the potential yield of an individual genotype is possible under favorable conditions for the growth and development of plants, including high-variety agricultural machinery and natural conditions. The maximum yield of high-quality corn grain is formed under the condition of the optimal ratio of all structural elements: weight of 1,000 grains, number of rows of grains in an ear, number of grains in a row, number of grains on one ear, length and diameter of an ear. If one structural element is insufficiently developed, the yield can be compensated by other components. Since individual elements of the structure are formed at different stages of organogenesis, different conditions are necessary for their successful development. The hybrids used in our research revealed peculiarities in the formation of elements of the crop structure, depending on the timing of sowing and stand density. The sizes of the cobs that formed on the corn plants varied little under the influence of sowing dates and plant stand density, but were characteristic of a certain biotype. Studies have shown that all factors of the experiment affect the growth, development of plants and the formation of elements of the structure of the corn grain crop. According to the results of the measurements, it was established that the best indicators of all structural elements were observed for sowing hybrids of different maturity groups in the optimal period - the third decade of April. The highest values of all indicators were observed in the Olkani hybrid, which is explained by the genotypic features of this hybrid.Publication Formation of sunflower leaf apparatus and efficiency of its functioning depends on growth factors(2024) Shakalii, S. M.; Baryshnikov, D. O.; Шакалій, Світлана МиколаївнаThe formation of plant productivity largely depends on the size and photosynthetic activity of their leaf surface. There is a tight the relationship between the level of productivity, photosynthetic activity and the coefficient of solar energy use. Crop productivity, consumption and accumulation of solar radiation are related to the size of the assimilation surface and the duration of its operation [1].Item Formation of the leaf surface and productivity of the chickling vetch (Lathyrus sativus L.) depending on the amounts of mineral fertilizers and pre-sowing inoculation of seeds(2021) Kaminsky, V.; Sokyrko, D.; Hanhur, V. О.The oil content of hemp seeds is controlled by the genotype and in the conducted studies did not depend on the growing technology; however, this factor had a synergistic effect with others. The protein content of hemp seeds during the years of research did not depend on weather conditions. Like other quality indicators, it had a slight variation, which indicates the significant role of the genetic characteristics of the varieties. On average, over the years of research, the protein content of the variants grown according to conventional technology was 25.2%, and according to transitional technology, it was 0.03% higher, which was within the limits of statistical error. The organic technology ensured the protein content at the level of 25.3%, and the use of the BioStymix-Niva microbial biodegrader - biodestructor contributed to the further growth of the indicator to 25.4%. The oil content of hemp seeds is not limited by other important characteristics, such as the yield of the hemp stems or the fiber content. Only the Glyana variety showed inverse correlations with plant height, hemp stems and seed productivity, they were of medium strength (r = -0.60 – -0.43). In the Zolotoniski 15 variety, only one inverse relationship was recorded, i.e. plant height (r = -0.57). No correlation was established between protein content and oil content in seeds. Correlations may change depending on other factors of cultivation, including weather conditions, elements of technology, etc., but the evaluation of varieties for cultivation according to these characteristics can significantly increase the efficiency of the production of cannabis products.Item FORMATION OF YIELD AND QUALITY OF POTATO TUBERS DEPENDING ON THE WEIGHT OF PLANTING TUBERS(2022-04) Shakalii, S.
