Анотація
The aim of the article is an exposure of criteria, indexes of identification and determination of basic indexes of quality of napkins
cotton. The object of experimental researches was napkin that is imported to Ukraine from Turkey. Indexes of quality can be plugged in a
nomenclature for evaluation and expert activity. For researches select indexes components of raw material composition, breaking loading,
capillarity, and change of linear dimensions after wet processing, presence of defects of textile material and sewing. During researches there
were the educed defects of original appearance of textile material, sewing, linear sizes. Therefore napkins do not answer the requirements of
standards. Also napkins do not answer standards on indexes breaking loading warp wise, capillarity and change of linear dimensions after
washing. Thus, napkins are offgrade.
