dc.description.abstractThe article examines the role of mastering Germanic languages and foreign literature as an effective strategy for developing students’ intercultural competence and personal growth within the European educational space. Emphasis is placed on the integration of language learning and literary studies as a means of fostering intercultural communication skills, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. The study highlights the importance of humanistic education in preparing students for active participation in a multicultural and multilingual European society
