P.; Прілєпо, Наталія Володимирівна; Priliepo, N. V.The object of research is the contact interaction between a deformable wheel (tire) and a deformable supporting surface. One of the most problematic areas is defining the boundaries of the contact zone as a function of applied loads, wheel geometry, and the mechanical properties of the contacting surfaces, as well as the increasing need to reduce energy consumption and soil compaction in the context of vehicle running gear systems. During the research, methods from the mechanics of continuous deformable media were used to identify the deformable properties of contacting surfaces. The investigations were founded on previously published research concerning the distribution of contact forces, obtained using biharmonic potential analytical functions based on methods employed by Boussinesq and Cerruti. Analytical dependencies have been derived that relate the leading and trailing edges of the deformable wheel's (tire's) contact with the deformable surface. This is because the proposed approach, which considers the relationship between forces and displacements on the surface and deformations and stresses within the contacting bodies, taking into account their mechanical properties, is more informative compared to methods of theoretical and analytical mechanics. The research revealed that the potential for improving the object's functioning lies in optimizing the selection of parameters and operating modes for running gear systems. Thanks to this, it becomes possible to obtain optimized values for the geometric size of the contact surface. Compared to analogous known approaches, this ensures an enhancement in the tractive efficiency of driving wheels, minimizing wheel slip to acceptable levels, which directly addresses key challenges in agricultural and off-road machinery by contributing to reduced energy consumption and soil compaction.Документ Assessment of the danger of using ultraviolet lamps in electrical systems(2024) Semenov, A. These parameters were measured using the optical radiation system OST-300. The photobiological safety of LUF 40-1, LE 15 lamps and their radiation risk group are established in accordance with EN 62471. The levels of UV radiation generated by LE 15 low pressure discharge lamps at a distance of 0.25 m belong to the high risk group (GR3), and LUF 40-1 - in the group of insignificant risk (GR1). A methodology for evaluating the energy and resource efficiency of meat frying processes and equipment has been developed. Based on this methodology, potential directions for improving the energy and resource efficiency of these processes and devices have been identified. A scientific concept is proposed, which involves creating conditions for intensified heat transfer during conductive frying by employing various physical and electrophysical methods—such as the application of electric current combined with compression, compression in a functionally closed volume, or in functionally closed chambers. The concept is supported by research results obtained from experimental prototype devices. The monograph is intended for academic staff, postgraduate and master's students, researchers, and professionals in the field of food production.Документ DEFINING THE PARAMETERS FOR A BRUSH WITH POLYPROPYLENE BRISTLE WHEN UNCOVERING THE ROOT SYSTEM OF MATERNAL PLANTS(2019-08) Іванов, Олег Миколайович; Харак, Руслан Миколайович; Пушка, Олександр СергійовичРозглянуто питання роботи циліндричної щітки з гнучкими прутками ворсу при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Встановлено, що основними складовими сили опору при роботі даної щітки є сума опорів, що спричинені силою в’язкості ґрунту, силою статичного опору сипучих частинок ґрунту та силою опору відкидання частинок ґрунту. Виходячи з мінімізації затрат енергії, визначено оптимальні кінематичні параметри щітки з вертикальною віссю обертання. Великий влив на значення загальної сили опору має кутова швидкість щітки. Крім сили опору на прутки ворсу щітки діє нормальна реакція ґрунтової основи. Знайшовши результуючу цих двох сил за допомогою методу еліптичних інтегралів Лежандра, встановлено оптимальні розмірні параметри прутків ворсу, що виготовлені з поліпропілену. Даний метод дозволив врахувати значні, у порівнянні з довжиною прутків, їх деформації в результаті їх згину. Довжина прутків визначена як максимально можлива для забезпечення умови видалення ґрунту з валка, що вкриває кореневу систему маточних рослин клонових підщеп. Також досліджено вплив сили тертя під час роботи щітки. Це тертя частинок ґрунту між собою та по поверхні прутків ворсу. Визначено, що сили тертя, як нормальна реакція ґрунту, мало впливають на роботу циліндричної щітки при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Це пояснюється відсутністю твердої основи при роботі прутка ворсу, що в свою чергу дозволяє розміщувати прутки ворсу по одному на поверхні щітки. Відсутність потреби у значній відносній жорсткості дозволяє пруткам ворсу видаляти ґрунт з валка мінімізуючи при цьому пошкодження рослин. За допомогою еліптичних інтегралів Лежандра другого роду досліджено прогин прутків ворсу циліндричної щітки при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Величина прогину прутка в процесі роботи впливає на повноту видалення ним частинок ґрунту. При збільшення прогину змінюється кут між робочою гранню прутка ворсу і поверхнею ґрунту. Це призводить до зменшення видалення частинок і збільшення їх ущільнення у валку. Тому розрахована довжина прутків ворсу, які здатні забезпечити необхідні робочі параметри при заданому навантаженні.Публікація Description of feather mite Proctophyllodes musicus(Acariformes, Proctophyllodidae) obtained from Turdus merula(2024) Мельничук, Віталій Васильович; Melnychuk, V. M.; Muzyka, D.; Chaplygina, A.Feather mites (Acariformes, Astigmata) are a large group of species in which mites of the genus Proctophyllodes Robin, 1868. Analgoidea are among the most common parasites of passerines. These mites are permanent obligate ectoparasites localized on the flight feathers, greater wing coverts, and on the tail. Most species of feather mites are characterized by high host specificity. The taxonomy and fauna of feather mites of the genus Proctophyllodes, and their morphological identification characters in different countries of the world are still a matter of research. The aim of our work was to describe the morphological features and metric parameters of feather mites of the species P. musicus Vitzthum, 1922, isolated from the common blackbird Turdus merula Linnaeus, 1758 in Ukraine. 32 parameters are determined in males and females of P.musicus mites, which characterize both their general structure of the body and sexual dimorphism. The structure and sizes of the body, gnathosoma, idiosoma, prodorsal and hysteronotal shields, epimerites I, setae cp and c3, and the distance between setae of the scapula se–se and si–si are described. In males, the sizes of adanal sucker discs, epigastric shields, genital arch, setae ps2, h3, h2, the distance between setae 4a–4a, g–g, ps3–ps3, ps1–ps1 are additionally described and determined. Lamellae in males are wide, tongueshaped, do not overlap. The aedeagus is short, slightly extending beyond the posterior margin of the genital arch. In female mites, the dimensions of the lobar shield, terminal appendages, and terminal recess are additionally described and determined, taking into account the location of setae ps1, h2, the dimensions of setae cp, c3, h3, h2, the distance between setae h1–h1, the distance between hysteronotal and lobar shields. The mite eggs were measured in the body of the female and on the feathers of the birds. The necessary prerequisites for determining rational modes and parameters of the roll crusher have been devised. A prototype of the roll crusher was designed and fabricated, in which the cutting knives are arranged along the entire width of the grip in a staggered manner, with the possibility to change the angle of inclination to the axis of drum rotation in the range of 5...20°. It was established that in the case of the right-side arrangement of the cutting edge of knives, the highest total level of the percentage of crushed stems in the range of 101–150 mm with an additional load weighing 800 kg exceeded by 1.58 times the corresponding indicators of the roll with an additional load of 600 kg. The largest overall value of the percentage of crushed stems in the range of 0–200 mm when additionally loading the roll with 800 kg was 1.13 times higher than the corresponding indicators of the roll with an additional load of 600 kg. In the range of 0–200 mm, with an additional load on the roll of 600 kg, at the leftside arrangement of the cutting edge of the knives of the roll, higher total percentage of crushed stems was observed compared to the right-side arrangement. At a speed of 7.45 km/h, 13.6 km/h, the cumulative value of the percentage of crushed stems exceeded the corresponding indicators at the right-side arrangement of knives by 1.09 times, at the speed of 18.6 km/h – by 1.04 times, at the speed of 22 km/h – by 1.04 times, respectively. It has been noted that at the left-side arrangement of the cutting edge of the knives of the roll, the percentage of crushed stems in the range of 51–100 mm, with an additional load of 600 kg, exceeded the corresponding indicators with an additional load of 800 kg. V.The object of this study is the contact interaction of two deformable bodies of inconsistent geometric shape, in particular, change in the stress-strain state of the wheel and the supporting surface. The significance of this topic arises from growing demands for vehicle mobility in difficult terrains, the necessity of minimizing environmental impact, and the need to optimize the design of mobile machinery components. A major challenge lies in developing a suitable analytical solution to define the stress-strain state variations within the contact zone between the wheel and soil or other surfaces. This study employs an approach grounded in the fundamental principles of mathematical physics applied to elasticity theory problems. This enabled the derivation of analytical equations that describe the absolute deformations of both the surface and the wheel (tire), along with the contact pressure distribution. The pressure distribution within the contact zone was determined using the properties of surface integrals of the second kind. Concentrated forces, when related to the contact area, were equated to the integral value of this surface integral. The values of these distributed forces were then incorporated into the transformed Boussinesq and Cerruti potential equations. The resulting analytical relationships can be utilized to determine the relative deformations of the contacting bodies and the stress distribution within them. Crucially, these relationships also serve as a basis for deriving equations that define the contact zone boundaries and the rolling resistance coefficient for deformable bodies. These derived relationships are general and presented in a form applicable to loads on both driving and passive (driven) wheels. This proposed model offers substantially improved analytical accuracy over existing empirical methods. Moreover, these analytical dependencies help circumvent the computationally intensive calculations typically required by FEM (Finite Element Method) or DEM (Discrete Element Method) simulations for every unique loading scenario and material property set.Документ Determination of optimal working parameters of technological equipment for renewable energy(Helsinki, Finland. The conducted research is aimed at the modeling and simulation of solar cells using the MathCAD environment. O.; Honcharenko, O.; Zakharov, A.The object of this research is the casting technology of double-layer rolls for universal beam mills (UBM). They are critically important components of the metallurgical industry, ensuring the production of beams, profiles, and other structural elements, widely used in construction, mechanical engineering, transport, energy, and other industries. Developing innovative approaches to manufacturing rolls is strategically important for strengthening Ukraine's production potential. Since one of the most problematic areas is the dependence on imported rolls, which leads to significant economic losses, logistical risks and restrictions on the country's technological independence. Existing domestic technologies do not always lead to achieving the necessary operational characteristics, such as wear and heat resistance, and durability, complicating the competitiveness of products on the international market. The work proposes an innovative technology for manufacturing two-layer rolls, using stationary casting molds, a bainite-martensitic outer layer structure, and optimization of temperature conditions. This provides high hardness, heat resistance, and wear resistance of the outer layer. The inner layer, made of high-plasticity materials, compensates for residual stresses and improves structural stability. The use of alloying elements (nickel, molybdenum, copper) in combination with mathematical modelling of temperature fields made it possible to reduce the number of structural defects, such as porosity and delamination while ensuring uniform connection of the layers. This is because the proposed technology combines modern approaches to alloying, heat treatment optimization, and high-tech modelling of temperature conditions during casting. A notable characteristic is the optimization of materials to withstand elevated mechanical and thermal stresses, complemented by an advanced casting mold design that enhances interlayer adhesion and minimizes the likelihood of defects. This facilitates the reliable performance of rolls under challenging operational conditions, characterized by elevated mechanical and thermal stresses. Waste re-use is the second most acceptable technology after waste prevention or minimization during production. This scientific work is dedicated to the waste re-use in food production. The article presents the results of research and development of technologies of the use of organic waste - pomace of the juice production of Chaenomeles fruits in food production. It has been determined that vegetable waste occupies a significant place among the total amount of food waste. Ways of using the waste of the production of Chaenomeles juice have been developed and analyяed, which involve obtaining extract, gelling juice, powder, and ways of their use in the technology of flour-based products have been proposed. M.The paper addresses the implementation of vacuum switching devices in combination with digital monitoring and diagnostic systems as an integral component of modern high-voltage electrical networks. Particular attention is focused on the analysis of electrophysical switching processes in a vacuum environment, the structural features of contact assemblies, and the possibilities for integrating circuit breakers into hierarchical control systems in accordance with the Smart Grid concept. The principles of vacuum arc operation, the characteristics of dielectric strength recovery in the inter-contact gap, and the influence of contact materials on the stability of switching regimes are summarized. The architecture of modern monitoring systems based on the IEC 61850 standard is considered, including the use of electrical and thermal sensors, microprocessor-based controllers, and integration at the SCADA/industrial automation level. It is shown that the combination of vacuum circuit breakers with digital control tools ensures a reduction in fault localization time, an increase in equipment availability, and a decrease in operational risks. A generalized structural model of the “vacuum circuit breaker – digital control” system is proposed, suitable for application in 6–35 kV networks and, prospectively, in substations of the 110–220 kV class.Публікація Effect of Fertigation with Urea-Ammonium Nitrate on the Seed Yield of Maize Maternal Lines(2024) Marenych, M. Research conducted in 2021 − 2023 in the Central Forest-Steppe of ukraine under unstable moisture conditions demonstrated the positive impact of urea-ammonia mixture (uan) on the yield and sowing properties of maize maternal lines seeds across different maturity groups (P6/240, P5/320, P4/440). Applying 80 L/ha of UAN during the V10 (ВВСН 20) phase increased seed yield by 10.6 − 11.9% compared to the control. The highest seed yield was achieved with 120 L/ha of UAN, resulting in increases of 22.5% for P6/240, 21.3% for P5/320, and 16.4% for P4/440. however, increasing the uan dose to 160 l/ha led to a slight decrease in yield for lines P5/320 and P6/240. Statistical analysis confirmed that fertilisers significantly influenced seed yield, accounting for 37% of the yield variance, with the genetic characteristics of the maternal lines contributing 34%. The positive effect of liquid nitrogen fertilisers on the 1,000-seed weight varied from 3.4% to 21.8%, depending on lines genetics and fertiliser dose.Публікація Effectiveness of urea-ammonia mixtures for ertilisation of maize (zeamays l.) mother plants under conditions of unstable moisture(2024) Marenych, M. O.; Юрченко, Світлана Олександрівна; Yeleussinov, B.Studies in 2021-2023 under conditions of unstable moisture in the Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine revealed a positive effect of urea-ammonia mixture (UAN) on the yield and sowing properties of seeds of maternal lines of maize hybrids of different maturity groups (P6/240, P5/320, P4/440). Based on the research results, it was found that the application of 80 l/ha of UAN in the V10 phase increased seed yield by 10.6-11.9% compared to the control. The highest level of seed yield of the maternal line of the early-ripening hybrid P6/240 (6.16 t/ha) by 22.5%, the mid ripening hybrid P5/320 (6.20 t/ha) by 21.3%, the late-ripening hybrid P4/440 (6.80 t/ha) by 16.4% and its maximum increase compared to the control was observed in the variant with the introduction of urea-ammonia mixture (UAN) at a dose of 120 l/ha. The subsequent increase in the dose of UAN to 160 l/ha was not effective, as the level of seed yield decreased in the hybrid P5/320 by 0.5%, P6/240 - by 3.9%. Statistical processing of the experimental data using the method of analysis of variance confirms the significant influence of fertilisers on the formation of seed yields of maize hybrids, which account for 37%. According to the experimental data, the positive effect of applying different doses of liquid nitrogen fertilisers on the weight of 1000 seeds, depending on the genetic characteristics of the hybrids and the dose of fertilisers, was noted to be 3.4-21.8%.Документ Efficiency of gas preparation technology using a block drying plant(2023) Popov, S. The task to ensure compliance of the composition of natural gas with the values of a number of basic characteristics before its supply to main pipelines has been solved. The results of a complex analysis of the gas preparation technology of the deposit, which is located in an agricultural area and is at a late stage of exploitation, are reported. It was established that in order to ensure the supply of conditioned gas to the system of main gas pipelines under the conditions of low gas pressures, the construction of gas treatment plants is required, first of all, for its drying. The method of ensuring gas quality considered in the current paper involves the use of a block-type gas drying installation as part of a low-temperature separation installation and a source of artificial cold. As the latter, it is envisaged to use a freon-refrigerating unit. The study shows that the proposed block gas drying units can be unified for different gas productivity and are characterized by relatively low capital and operating costs. The main advantages of the introduction of gas preparation block installations and the scheme of connecting the installation to the existing line are presented. Based on the results of the economic efficiency indicators, it was established that the use of a block gas drying unit is a profitable project with the value of the accumulated reduced free cash flow of almost 843 thousand conditional units; the investment payback period is 3 years. The results could be effectively used in the gas distribution sector, provided that the gas is extracted from a field close to exhaustion, which is characterized by low reservoir pressures.Публікація Electrical Generators Service Maintenance(ПДАУ, 2024-12-10) Popov, S.
