Публікація A mechanized assembly for erecting soil-cement barriers to protect agricultural lands from low-active waste during flood(2024) Петраш, Олександр Васильович; Petrash, O. I.; Danova, K.; Malysheva, V.; Nikitchenko, O.; Nikitchenko, O.; Moroz, M.; Bogatov, O.The object of this study is the process of constructing a waterproof underground barrier from local soil using loess loam and medium-sized sand as an example. The values of waterproofing of soil cements on different types of soil and the norms of net labor consumption corresponding to them were obtained. The research solves the task of protecting agricultural lands in the areas of geological burials of low-level radioactive waste. Configuration of a mechanized drilling mixing assembly for installing a waterproof barrier in the field has been proposed. Waterproofness of soil cement on clay and sandy soils was determined experimentally. The corresponding norms of the net consumption of time for manufacturing the barrier in these soils have been determined. Units of the mechanized assembly are repairable, utilize widely available materials, parts, and mechanisms. As a result of studies on the labor intensity of the installation of soil cement, a net labor rate was established, which varies from 35 to 52 min/m3 depending on the type of soil. The corresponding values of waterproofness, which ranged from W6 to W14, were determined, which substantiates the possibility of effective functioning of soil-cement underground barriers. Options for the structural solution for impenetrable barriers have been offered. The values of the obtained net time rates are explained by the high degree of mechanization of the technological process and the use of local materials. A distinctive feature of the results is the emphasis on the data collection on the time consumption of machines and mechanisms, the characteristics of local soils under production conditions, and the use of local materials. The assembly implies using affordable and repairable units that can be serviced right in the field. Given this, the manufacturability of the proposed process was defined, confirmed by time-keeping studies. The realm of practical application of the reported results are sites within flat areas with sandy or loess bases. Barrier solutions are designed exclusively for geological waste storage facilities under the conditions of a high level of groundwater and the presence of a waterproof layer at the base.Документ DEFINING THE PARAMETERS FOR A BRUSH WITH POLYPROPYLENE BRISTLE WHEN UNCOVERING THE ROOT SYSTEM OF MATERNAL PLANTS(2019-08) Іванов, Олег Миколайович; Харак, Руслан Миколайович; Пушка, Олександр СергійовичРозглянуто питання роботи циліндричної щітки з гнучкими прутками ворсу при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Встановлено, що основними складовими сили опору при роботі даної щітки є сума опорів, що спричинені силою в’язкості ґрунту, силою статичного опору сипучих частинок ґрунту та силою опору відкидання частинок ґрунту. Виходячи з мінімізації затрат енергії, визначено оптимальні кінематичні параметри щітки з вертикальною віссю обертання. Великий влив на значення загальної сили опору має кутова швидкість щітки. Крім сили опору на прутки ворсу щітки діє нормальна реакція ґрунтової основи. Знайшовши результуючу цих двох сил за допомогою методу еліптичних інтегралів Лежандра, встановлено оптимальні розмірні параметри прутків ворсу, що виготовлені з поліпропілену. Даний метод дозволив врахувати значні, у порівнянні з довжиною прутків, їх деформації в результаті їх згину. Довжина прутків визначена як максимально можлива для забезпечення умови видалення ґрунту з валка, що вкриває кореневу систему маточних рослин клонових підщеп. Також досліджено вплив сили тертя під час роботи щітки. Це тертя частинок ґрунту між собою та по поверхні прутків ворсу. Визначено, що сили тертя, як нормальна реакція ґрунту, мало впливають на роботу циліндричної щітки при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Це пояснюється відсутністю твердої основи при роботі прутка ворсу, що в свою чергу дозволяє розміщувати прутки ворсу по одному на поверхні щітки. Відсутність потреби у значній відносній жорсткості дозволяє пруткам ворсу видаляти ґрунт з валка мінімізуючи при цьому пошкодження рослин. За допомогою еліптичних інтегралів Лежандра другого роду досліджено прогин прутків ворсу циліндричної щітки при розкритті кореневої системи маточних рослин. Величина прогину прутка в процесі роботи впливає на повноту видалення ним частинок ґрунту. При збільшення прогину змінюється кут між робочою гранню прутка ворсу і поверхнею ґрунту. Це призводить до зменшення видалення частинок і збільшення їх ущільнення у валку. Тому розрахована довжина прутків ворсу, які здатні забезпечити необхідні робочі параметри при заданому навантаженні.Публікація Deformation Monitoring of Silos on the Basement, Reinforced with Soil–Cement Elements, Manufactured According to Boring and Mixing Technology(2022) Біда, Сергій Васильович; Bida, S. V.; Marusych, O.; Zotsenko, M.; Pavelieva, A.The construction of a significant number of new facilities takes place on the territories, where geological-engineering conditions are complicated by the pres ence of man-made soils or soils with special properties, which makes it necessary to reinforce the basement. This problem becomes particularly topical in construc tion of such structures as grain storage silos that transfer significant loads to the basement. One of the options for reinforcement is the installation of soil–cement elements, manufactured according to boring and mixing technology. Reinforcement of the basement in this way is quite effective due to the applicability of elements of different diameters and lengths, as well as through adequate choice of distance between them. Variation of these parameters allows to perform reinforcement almost in any geological conditions, taking into account the possibility of consolidation of the bases and foundations below the water table. However, designing and operation of the structures, standing on basements, reinforced in this way, requires intensive study of the stress–strain state of the system “foundation bed–reinforced basement”, taking into account operational features of such structures. Proper allowance must be made for different degrees of silos loading and cyclic loading and unloading. Investigative research of the deformability of such systems is possible by applying various models of soils and the finite-element method as a mathematical apparatus. When choosing a model, consideration must be given to such factors as the accu racy of behavioral model of foundation soils and the simplicity of identification of parameters, required for performing calculations. Special attention should also be given to monitoring the development of subsidence of the structures, built on the reinforced basement, taking into account the time factor for comparison with the results obtained analytically.Публікація Determination of the efficiency of shot blasting of metal surfaces(2025) Горик, Олексій Володимирович; Goryk, O. M.; Kalashnykov, O.; Buchynskyi, A.The object of this research is the process of transformation of kinetic energy of the attacking air-abrasive torch in the process of dynamic impact on metal surfaces of products during their shot blasting. The importance of the research is due to the need to solve the problem of increasing the efficiency of the technological process of preparing metal surfaces of products by shot blasting for the subsequent application of protective, stable non-metallic coatings. In the work, based on the energy balance of the "shot-obstacle" system, a method for determining the efficiency coefficient of the shot blasting surface preparation process was developed, which was associated with the torch energy recovery coefficient. The relationship of the coefficients with the potential energy of the surface layer accumulated in the process of elastic deformation was established. The depth of the hole formed by the shot on the surface of the attacked body was taken as a measure of this energy. When determining the depth of the hole, the deformation of an elementary cylindrical element clamped in the surface layer of the attacked body was considered, the dimensions of which are compatible with the dimensions of the elastic deformation hole. The classical recovery coefficient is not a characteristic criterion for revealing the physical aspects of the complex multifactorial shot blasting process. The ease of application in practical calculations, especially when establishing the productivity of the process, prompts the search for improving the methods of its determination, since the existing models of an ideal impact in this case are not capable. This coefficient at average attack speeds of 100–120 m/s and angles of 40° < α < 70° turned out to be 15–20% less than the classical one. The study of such movement is carried out to confirm theoretical studies on the development and justification of an analytical model of controlled gravitational movement of grain along transfer shelves. When loading grain, it can be injured when falling from a considerable height and hitting the bottom and walls of the container. This problem requires the development and study of a technical solution that would provide regulation of the velocity of grain movement when loading it into the container. Theoretical studies were carried out using the developed analytical model of grain movement and the proposed equations to find the relationships between the angles of inclination of the acceleration and braking shelves of the gravity-cascade unit. Based on the analytical model, an experimental unit was made of two acceleration and two braking shelves. The shelves can freely rotate on the axes to the required angle in the range from 0° to 90° relative to the horizontal plane. For the shelves of the acceleration sections, the angle of inclination α was chosen from the variable series of 45°, 50°, 60°. Based on the angle α, according to the model, the shelf of the first braking section was set at an angle of 20.43°, 20.48°, 20.32°, and the shelf of the second braking section was set at 38.46°, 35.28°, 29.32°. Experimental studies have shown that the velocity of grain movement is indeed regulated by a combination of the ratios of the angles of the acceleration and braking shelves. In this case, the velocity of grain in the last braking section is close to the initial flow velocity at the beginning of the first acceleration shelf. The values of the absolute and relative errors of the experiments of the experimentally determined velocities and the theoretical value of the velocity indicate quite acceptable limits of deviations for this multifactorial experiment. The relative deviation of the experimental from the theoretical velocity of movement of the grain mass does not exceed 12.76%. The main factors that cause loss of quality of hemp are determined by the level of perfection of the harvesting stage of the production process. V.Plant extracts, due to the high content of various biologically active compounds, have found their wide application in the foods, pharmaceutical industries, and agricultures, for the production of valuable and useful bioproducts. The aqueous plant extracts are most often used. The effect of the water origin used in their preparation on the extract’s composition has not been studied enough, which limits their use. The study was aimed to compare the biological effect of sage (Salvia officinalis L.) extracts prepared using water of different origins (distilled, tap, spring, bottled). The preparation of aqueous extracts was carried out in two ways, differing Keywords in the extraction temperature. In the first method, boiling water was used to prepare the extract; in the second, cooled boiled water was used. The sage leaves mass for extract preparation was 1.65 and 3.30 g. The biological activity of the extracts was assessed by testing them for radish germination. It was shown the sage leaves extracts prepared using various waters origin can differ by one and half times in their allelopathic effect on radish seeds. It was proved the qualitative composition and mass of the substance extracted from the plant depend on the water origin used for extracts preparation. Доведена необхідність всебічного впровадження електромеханічних принципів керування процесом паливоподачі у відповідності до варіативних умов експлуатації дизелів. Висвітлена актуальність подальшого вдосконалення та модернізації гідромеханічних паливних систем на фоні постійно зростаючого інтересу до електрокерованих аналогів. Наведено перелік не використаних потенційних можливостей гідромеханічної паливної апаратури для покращення умов протікання процесу подачі палива. Запропоновано електромеханічний засіб для інтенсифікації паливоподачі, що вмонтовується до паливонагнітального трубопроводу та видозмінює фазо-амплітудну характеристику хвильового процесу розповсюдження одиночного імпульсу подачі між паливним насосом високого тиску та гідромеханічною форсункою. Висвітлено основні аспекти методики уточнення розрахункової моделі паливної системи безпосередньої дії розподільного типу з новим засобом інтенсифікації подачі палива. Запропоновано розглядати процес паливоподачі в декілька етапів з врахуванням особливостей функціонування окремо взятого гідравлічного вузла паливної системи, включаючи запропонований засіб інтенсифікації. Приведені системи диференціальних та аналітичних рівнянь, що дозволяють проводити математичне моделювання процесу розповсюдження та взаємовпливу хвиль тиску в паливонагнітальному тракті. Отримані системи дозволяють отримувати характеристики зміни гідравлічного тиску в різних паливних об’ємах, кінематики руху запірних елементів насосу високого тиску та форсунки, тощо. У ході порівняльних досліджень, що були проведені на основі сформованої розрахункової моделі, процесу паливоподачі для штатної та вдосконаленої паливної системи турбодизеля були виявлено значне покращення якості впорскування за значною кількістю показників. За результатами розрахунків прослідковується наявність стрімкоподібного характеру зростання та спадання тиску впорскування на початковій та завершальній фазі процесу подачі палива до циліндрів дизеля. Відмічено, що швидкість зміни тиску може досягати 170 МПа/град, максимальний та середній тиск впорсквання зростає до 75 МПа та 30…40 МПа відповідно. V.The paper analyses factors, properties, and criteria contributing to the formation and development of the territorial community based on the principles of urban agglomerations in modern conditions on the example of cities in Luhansk oblast. In the modern world, it is no longer a question of competition between countries but actually between cities–agglomerations or metropolitan cities. In fact, they have been in Ukraine, e.g., large cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv. Currently, Ukraine has introduced three levels of the administrative-territorial system, which distinguish the following units: community, district, region. As a part of the decentralization reform in Ukraine, 490 old districts have already been liquidated and 136 new ones have been formed. There have been created 1470 united territorial communities, which should become the basis of local self-government. A criterion analysis of the territory with adjacent settlements has been conducted from the point of view of unification into a territorial community. Priority measures for the development and improvement of the united territorial community as an urban agglomeration have been proposed. Based on the criterion analysis of ‘Severodonetsk-Lysychansk-Rubizhne’ territory with adjacent settlements, we can consider the united territorial community as an urban agglomeration, and develop it as a complex system that includes not only cities and settlements around them, but also all production facilities, resettlement of inhabitants, interaction of nature and urban population as a single entity. The task solved was to clarify the specificity of rotary tools operation and to design a small sized soil bin taking into account this specificity. The data collected during experimental research and theoretical analysis confirmed the determin ing influence of the kinematic parameter on the indicators of interaction between the rotary tool and soil. As a result of the research, a concept was proposed and a soil mini channel was designed, which makes it possible to investigate the process mechanics and to perform graphic modeling. The result relates to the fact that the media tor of motion transmission during the experiments was a ground trough, and the drive belt is rear ranged in engagement with pulleys of different diameters. This provides a different ratio of linear movement of the trough and rotation of the working body. The peculiarity of the design is the combination of variable movable troughs and graphic screens with a stationary position of the rotor. The design provides simplicity and visibility of the assignment of different values of the kinematic parameter. A special feature is the modularity of the structure. This makes it possible to conduct research with variable troughs with different soil composition and immediately acquire a graphic interpretation of the kinematic mode on the screen. This implementation of the soil mini bin simplifies the observation and recording of the result of interaction between the rotor and model environment. The field of practical use is scientific research in the area of agricultural engineering. The data obtained can be used to improve existing tools. Under the conditions of rapid technological transformation, industry 5.0 development, and cross-functional engineering requirements, the traditional isolated approach to teaching fundamental sciences is proven to be insufficient. The author reveals the essence of interdisciplinary integration as a didactic mechanism that transforms abstract academic knowledge into a tool for solving complex applied engineering problems. The structural components of the integration process are identified: motivational, content-technological, and professional-adaptive. Special emphasis is placed on practical integration tools, such as end-to-end professional problem solving, computer-aided design systems (CAD), mathematical modeling packages, and STEM/STEAM methodologies. It is substantiated that research activity in a higher pedagogical educational institution is an essential objective condition for the holistic professional competence formation of a science teacher, which ensures the development of the research competence as an important quality of a modern specialist. The research of Ukrainian scientists on the formation of research competence of future teachers is analyzed, and the requirements of the National Qualifications Framework are highlighted, on the basis of which the category ‘research competence of future teachers of natural sciences’ is defined as an integrative quality of personality that characterizes their readiness to solve research (search, design, consulting, organizational and managerial) tasks by applying methods of scientific knowledge, application of the diagnostic approach in educational, scientific, natural and managerial activities and which is expressed in the unity of value-motivational, cognitive and operational components. It is proposed to understand the process of systematic accumulation of positive quantitative and qualitative changes under the formation of research competence of future teachers of natural sciences, which allow applicants for higher education to effectively carry out educational, natural science research. V.; Оніпко, Валентина ВолодимирівнаIn many countries around the world, about 63% of deaths are caused by chronic noncommunicable diseases. Obesity is one of the factors in the development of a number of noncommunicable diseases (cardiovascular, diabetes, etc.). It is the most common metabolic disease among people of all ages in all countries. The WHO (the World Health Organization) recognized obesity as a new non-communicable «epidemic» of our time. Despite the fact, that noncommunicable diseases kill adults more frequently, the predisposition to risk factors begins in childhood and its negative consequences accumulate throughout the lifespan. That is why regular monitoring of the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents is relevant and appropriate. Materials and methods. 340 schoolchildren, including 196 boys aged 8-16 and 144 girls aged 8-15 research took part in the research. Analysis of the prevalence of overweight and obesity among schoolchildren was carried out using anthropometric data (body weight and height) and the calculation of the body mass index, taking into account the standards of the percentiles. Results and conclusions. The results of the study during 2017-2020 showed that a higher prevalence of overweight and obesity was observed in boys aged 8-12 years and girls aged 8-11 years. The predominance of overweight and obese people among girls or boys cannot be stated unequivocally, because of a disproportion throughout the years. In 2017 and 2020, a higher percentage of overweight people was observed among boys, in 2018-2019 - among girls. The prevalence of obesity in 2017-2018 was higher among girls, in 2019-2020, respectively, among boys. It was also found that the percentage of obese and overweight schoolchildren during the study period was high. The purpose of the study was to find out the possibilities of identifying and influencing the educational manager's self-development traits by analyzing publications of scientific pedagogical journals made by different groups of authors in order to improve the professional mobility of the manager by means of training at a pedagogical university and institute of postgraduate pedagogical education. The article is empirical and is based on a secondary analysis of significant theoretical positions of Ukrainian and foreign authors. The research is based on the author's method of content analysis of pedagogical publications of two Ukrainian scientific journals with the addition empirical (questioning, observation, expert evaluation) and statistical (computer quantization of content, mathematical quantitative and qualitative data analysis) methods. The study concludes that the proposed approach to the study of the content of pedagogical publications and the use of this data to improve programs for the development of professional mobility of managers of secondary education institutions, the construction of individual trajectories of their self-development.Публікація Properties investigation of polyester resin composite materials and products(2023) Шульгін, Володимир Васильович; Shulhin, V. V.The use of composite materials in construction is a promising direction due to their potential to reduce costs and improve the operational characteristics of building structures. The results of this study will allow to determine the optimal formulations and manufacturing technologies of polymer composite materials for use in construction. In this paper, a detailed analysis of the composite material based on polyester resin (polymer sand concrete) used for the manufacture of hatch covers for manholes in water supply and sewage systems is carried out. The main components of the considered composition are quartz sand, unsaturated polyester resin, hardening accelerator - cobalt naphthenate solution and hardener - benzoyl peroxide. As part of the study, the improvement of the composite material’s properties is also considered by adjusting the technological modes of formation. Special attention was paid to the analysis of the hardness of the samples after the research, since this parameter determines the resistance of the material to wear. The effect of different ratios of these components on the physical and mechanical properties of the final material was studied. It was experimentally determined how the consumption of polyester and hardener affects the compressive strength, bending strength, impact toughness and hardness of the composite material. To obtain optimal characteristics, the STATISTICA 12 software package was used to specify the values of the factors that lead to maximum compressive and bending strength. The results of the research are presented in the conclusions in the form of quantitative indicators that indicate the optimal composition to achieve high physical and mechanical characteristics. However, the work is complicated by the possibility of rockslides and rock collapses, which threatens the equipment and people carrying out strengthening of the shore. After a detailed analysis and generalization of the results of the engineering and geological surveys conducted in this area, the most landslide-hazard zones of the slopes were selected and the stress-strain state of the slope was studied with the help of the Plaxis software complex, considering the possibility of a landslide. According to the simulation results, dangerous zones have been determined within which soil collapses are possible. It was concluded that the presence of people and equipment in these areas should be limited as much as possible.
