Scientific article carefully examines publications concerning the problem of using biomass as a renewable energy source in Ukraine. It is necessary to introduce plant recourses into fuel and energy complex of our country. Purpose. Assess the available potential of agrobiomas and phytomass of energy crops for the production of biofuels in Ukraine. Methods. Field study, laboratory analysis, analytical approach. Results. The article presented detailed assessment technique, determined potential and calculated energy efficiency of using agro-biomass and energy crops phytomass for biofuel production in Ukraine.

The need to find ways to improve the quality characteristics of milk as a basis for increasing the competitiveness of dairy products in the global market determines the relevance of the study. Ukraine’s dairy industry is one of the critical ones in the agricultural sector of the economy, as it provides the country’s population with vital foodstuffs. The purpose of this study was to substantiate the areas of solving organisational and economic problems of development of the dairy industry to meet the needs of the domestic market with quality dairy products and increase export potential.

Switchgrass is a perennial grass that is widely considered a promising feedstock for bioenergy production due to its high productivity and adaptability to different environmental conditions. Its cultivation is becoming increasingly important in the global transition to renewable energy sources due to its economic and energy efficiency. Compared to traditional crops, switchgrass is a cost-effective crop to cultivate, which can help reduce carbon emissions and improve the environment. Switchgrass can be cultivated on marginal lands, making better use of available land resources (Sesmero et al., 2021). One of the peculiarities of switchgrass is its potentially higher yield (Zhang et al., 2017). Typical switchgrass cultivation leads to increased yields over multiple growing seasons (Happs et al., 2024).

Quality of life as an indicator of efficiency of innovative models of modern economy

The work attempted to integrate indicators of economic growth, innovation and knowledge with the quality-of-life indicator. The review of previous studies allowed determining a range of socio-economic problems of nation-states. The major components of the quality-of-life indicator were identified such as knowledge, economic growth and innovation. The composite indicator of the quality of life consists of measures and variables from the international indexes (i.e., Quality of Life Index, Human Development Index, Knowledge Economy Index, and Enabling Trade Index).
