V.; Chaika, T.; Shevnikov, M.; Liashenko, V.; Gorbenko, O.; Rybalchenko, A.Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the most sought-after legumes on the global market due to its high demand in the feed, food, and industrial sectors. Climate change necessitates the implementation of technological innovations to enhance plant resistance to adverse growing conditions. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of pre-sowing seed treatment of soybean with the bacterial preparation Profix, the phytohormone based preparation Violar, as well as their combined application through seed inoculation and crop spraying during the bud formation–bloom phase, on the development and productivity of soybeans under an organic farming. To examine the dynamics of leaf surface area, photosynthetic pigments, malondialdehyde and proline levels, and their relationship with yield, the ANOVA-Tukey test and principal component analysis were employed. The field experimental results showed that pre-sowing seeds treatment with the Profix inoculant, the phytohormonal preparation Violar, and their combined application contributes to an increase in leaf surface area, an enhancement in the content of photosynthetic pigments, a reduction in malondialdehyde levels, and an increase in proline content in soybean plant. These physiological improvements ultimately led to average soybean yield increases of 12.3%, 19.6%, and 29.2%, respectively, despite adverse weather conditions 2024. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating bacterial and phytohormonal seed treatments as a sustainable and innovative approach to enhancing soybean productivity under organic farming conditions. BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF COUMARINE AND ITS DERIVATIVES(2020-03-25) Changing in phytosanitary state in winter wheat fields under climate change in left-bank forest-steppe of Ukraine(2022-05-25) Numerous studies have demonstrated the negative impact of climate change in many parts of the world, especially arid regions, on the potential yields of winter wheat and food security in the world. I. ; Galytska, M. A. ; Taranenko, S. V.; Rozhko, I. I. ; Soil organic matter (SOM) is one of the primary indicators of soil quality, which plays an important role in enhancing a range of soil physical, chemical and biological functions in the agricultural ecosystem. Switchgrass cultivation for bioenergy has the potential to improve and stabilize soil properties on marginal land over the years. The research was aimed to evaluate the dynamics of SOM in different types of switchgrass cropping systems and the influence of SOM on switchgrass productivity. The experiment was performed on a marginal land in the central part of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. The switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) cultivar ‘Cave-in-Rock’ was used. The experiment included two factors. Factor A – type of cropping: 1) sole crops of switchgrass (Sw) – control; 2) strip intercropping of switchgrass and lupine (Sw + strip); 3) mixed intercropping of switchgrass and lupine (Sw + mix). Factor B – years of switchgrass cultivation (2010–2016). It was demonstrated that perennial switchgrass cultivation has the potential to increase SOM content. SOM content in Sw + strip crops increased by 0.12%, in Sw + mix – by 0.09% and in Sw – by 0.07%. The highest switchgrass productivity was formed in Sw + strip (from 1.11 to 1.53 kg m-2) and in Sw + mix (from 1.12 to 1.45 kg m-2) crops, the lowest – in Sw (from 0.85 to 1.34 kg m-2) crop. The maximum switchgrass productivity was observed for 5–7 years of cultivation. The highest height of plants and number of shoots of switchgrass were in Sw + strip crops, and significantly less in the other treatments. The results of the experiment showed a great increase of switchgrass productivity and SOM content in switchgrass crops and confirmed that switchgrass can be a sustainable energy crop. Echinacea in Ukraine: results of introduction and study of biology(1999) EVALUATION OF BINDING AFFINITY OF ETHIDIUM HOMODIMER-III TO DNA BY FLUORESCENT METHOD(2018-05-21) O.; Dudkа, Е.An important element of cucumber cultivation technology in protected soil conditions is a rational plant fertilization scheme. Ensuring optimal nutrition of plants with micro and macroelements, especially in conditions of protected soil, is one of the important conditions for increasing the yield of vegetable crops with high fruit quality. The appearance of new microfertilizers on the market requires research to study their impact on the formation of the yield and quality of cucumber fruits. Cucumber ranks first among vegetable crops in greenhouse farms in terms of area and yield level. This culture is most demanding on food conditions, temperature and water regimes. Formation of yield of soft winter wheat depending on varietal properties and the influence of biostimulants based on rhizobacteria(2026-02-18) Yurchenko, S. O.; Palaziuk, B.Agricultural science has been conducting research for a long time with the aim of developing technologies for growing winter wheat to reduce the negative impact of abiotic and biotic factors. The latter can significantly reduce yields and impair grain quality. The use of biological products has now become an integral part of the technological chain in the cultivation of grain crops in environmentally friendly farming systems. Genus Echinacea Moench. in Ukraine: sixty-year experience of studying and using(2004-09) Geoinformation monitoring of the tourist industry potential of the territory(2023) Shevchuk, S. O.; Stepanenko, B.An important factor in modern corn cultivation technologies is the use of innovative hybrids, which increase yields by 50-80%. Scientific research and production experience indicate the high potential of the crop, which is used at 40-50%, since it is quite achievable to obtain yields of modern hybrids at the level of 16-18 t/ha. However, the realization of the potential of corn hybrids is hampered by low yield stability in different agroecological zones. The high material and energy costs of growing corn for grain encourage scientific justification of the main elements of technology, taking into account the maturity group of hybrids and soil and climatic conditions. Influence of growth stimulators on photosynthetic activity of spring barley crops(2021-05-05) On the resistance of low-lighin forms of corn to european corn borer(1978-03) П.Документ ORGANOPOLYSILANE POLYMERS: QUANTUM CHEMICAL STUDY(2020-01-25) Короткова, Ірина ВалентинівнаДокумент Pale-purple coneflower (Echinacea pallida (Nutt.) V.; Гангур, Володимир Васильович; Vodianyk, O. V.; Yeremko, L. S.; Єремко, Людмила Сергіївна; Staniak, M.Long-term leguminous grasses (Medicago sativa L., Trifolium pratense L., Onobrychis viciifolia Scop., Melilotus officinalis L.) are strategically important crops for sustainable agriculture because they combine high agronomic, ecological, and economic benefits. Their cultivation contributes to a long-term increase in soil fertility due to their significant biomass, ability to biologically fix nitrogen, improve soil physical properties, and activate soil biota. One of the key properties of perennial legumes is symbiotic nitrogen fixation. With the participation of nodule bacteria, they are capable of absorbing 80 to 250 kg of N/ha per year from the atmosphere, which is several times higher than the capacity of other crops. This biological nitrogen is formed gradually and evenly enters the soil, improving the nitrogen nutrition of subsequent crops in the crop rotation. This reduces the need for mineral fertilizers, especially nitrogen fertilizers, which contributes to resource savings and reduces the technogenic load on the environment. The highly developed root system of perennial legumes, which can extend to a depth of 1.5–3 m, performs a number of important functions: improving soil structure and aeration, increasing its water permeability, and preventing erosion processes. The roots help break up compacted layers of the arable horizon, providing better conditions for the growth of roots of the next crops. In addition, roots and post-harvest residues significantly enrich the soil with organic matter—humus accumulates in the soil profile, which is the main indicator of fertility. The organic mass of perennial legumes is characterized by an optimal C:N ratio, which ensures rapid decomposition of plant residues and effective humus formation. The application of biomass is equivalent to the application of large amounts of organic fertilizers in a naturally occurring manner. This contributes to improving the nutrient regime, increasing the content of available phosphorus and potassium, activating microbiological processes, and increasing the biological activity of the soil.
